Saturday, May 22/10. 9:00 a.m.Len King's woodlot is a mixed planting of hard and softwood begun in 1977, with the most recent planting done in the early 1990's.39 Barton Road in Brant County. Take Colbourne Street
(hwy 2 and 53) east from Brantford. Turn south on McBay road, and right
on Barton--Len's house will be the second on the right. His telephone

The BWOA was formed in 1996 to provide a forum to exchange knowledge and experience in woodlot management between Brant County, Ontario landowners and industry professionals. We are affiliated with the Ontario Woodlot Association.
The BWOA is a member of the Brant Resource Stewardship Network. The network’s objectives are to:
- Create awareness of the value and methods of responsible resource management pertaining to the Brant community.
- Facilitate community-based projects that demonstrate and instill an appreciation of responsible land care practices in the community.
- Foster community responsibility in utilizing land use practices and principles that protect and enhance resource values for the benefit of the landowner, the environment and the community.
- Build capacity within the community for “self help” in caring for its land and resources.
